GT Force Expert All Mountain Bike
GT's COR All-Mountain Philosophy drives the design and spec for the 2016 GT Force Expert 27.5-inch mountain bike. The result is an all mountain ripper, as capable in a DH competition as it is attacking single-track. With Progressive Geometry--a long top tube, short stem and long front center geometry, you'll have excellent positioning and precision steering at your command for the kind of control you need descending. This bike is designed to be responsive when close encounters ensue or on unpredictable terrain. It's a design that instills a feeling of freedom on climbs, one that translates into confidence. Which means you can comfortably ride your bike all over the mountain. The Force Expert features a lightweight, rugged 6069 hyrdroformed aluminum frame and Angle Optimized Suspension System (AOS), with forged linkage and 160 mm of travel. AOS offers optimized bump compliance and delivers more efficient pedaling as it decreases the angle of response for an efficient, smooth ride. Up front, a RockShox Pike RC fork smooths your way with 160mm of travel, lockout and rebound adjustments, and the alloy steerer is tapered for durability. A Marzocchi 053 C2R, 7.5"x2.0" rear air shock has rebound adjust and lockout, and helps keep you efficient and comfortable on rutty, rocky roads Shimano Deore Rapid Fire shifters give you crisp, precise control over 20 gearing options. You won't miss a gear, because the Shimano Deore front derailleur and Shimano Deore XT Shadow Plus direct-mount rear derailleur suck up slack to keep your shifting seamless. Any real descending requires real braking power, so Shimano SLX, BR-M67 brakes with metallic pads and fins come standard and offer supreme control in the coers. This brake system also conserves the life of the WTB STP i25, tubeless compatible rims, and the Continental Mountain King tires provide plenty of surface area to grip any road.Features:
