Why climb hills when it's so much fun to go down them? The GT Fury World Cup Downhill Mountain Bike pulls out all the stops with a pro-level, World Cup ready build that can take pretty much any abuse, and deliver you to the bottom in record time. Whether you're heading out to Whistler or the local ski hills in summer, you'll love the 27.5" 6069 T6 alloy frame. It's burly, engineered for durability and speed, and puts you in a position that maximizes performance, control and comfort. A Fox DHX RC4 rear suspension with 210mm of travel and the Independent Drivetrain Suspension System take the sting out of even the gnarliest hits, so you can keep on bombing even when the terrain gets tough. The Fox 40 27.5" RC2 fork with Kashima gives you 203 mm of travel, and adjustable high speed/low speed compression and rebound. Shifting and drivetrain duties are taken care of with Shimano's Saint 10-speed DH group, featuring the newly redesigned Shadow Plus RD-M820 direct mount rear derailleur and Rapid Fire shifters. A Saint FC-M825 165mm crank has a 36T ring to help you get you momentum going again when you start to slow down. Braking is handled by Shimano Saint BL-M820 hydraulic brakes and levers that give you the ultimate in control. The wheels were built with true DH-ready durability in mind, by lacing a Stan's NoTubes Flow EX 32H rim to a set of Shimano Saint 20x110mm thru axle hubs, using DT Swiss Competition 2.0/1.8 stainless spokes. The result is a bombproof wheel that can take the hits without folding up like a taco after a day of bombing hills. The wheels are wrapped up in some Continental Der Kaiser Projekt tires with a tough six ply casing for extra durability. Finally, steering is handled by a RaceFace Atlas direct mount stem clamped to a PRO Atherton DH riser, sheathed in grippy and fully cushioned PRO Atherton Lock-On grips. You'll sit (or rather hover over) a PRO Atherton saddle and seatpost with titanium rails for extra durability.- 6060 T6 alloy Fury frame is light, tough, and super durable
