Diamondback Atroz Comp 27.5" Mountain Bike
Looking to conquer more aggressive trails? Then we've got your ride. The Diamondback Atroz Comp 27.5 Full Suspension Mountain Bike has a bombproof 4" travel frame, tough-as-nails components and dependable bump control that'll smooth out the roughest off-road terrain. The 6061 T-6 Aluminum Trail frame has 4" of travel via the RockShox Monarch R air rear shock. Machined formed top tube and a butted and formed down tube share the same technology as the Diamondback Sortie series. It uses a sealed cartridge bearing pivot and is built around an optimized single pivot design which is the simplest type of rear suspension because there are few moving parts. It consists of a pivot just above the bottom bracket, slightly up on the down tube and a single swingarm to the rear axle. Being that the rear triangle directly attaches to the rear shock, the shock has a more linear spring rate and offers good small bump compliance. The Rock Shox XC32 120mm front fork will let you dial in for your specific needs. SRAM X5 10-speed shifters control the SRAM X7 rear derailleur and the SRAM PG1030 cassette, and when paired with the Race Face Ride 30T "Narrow Wide" single front ring, give you a wider gear range and more ground clearance. Full chain guide with roller prevents chain drops on near-vertical descents. Tektro Gemini hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm front and 160mm rear rotors deliver superior stopping power in all conditions.
